Day-1 Arrival Bagdogra – Gangtok)

Upon your arrival at the NJP Railway Station or the Bagdogra Airport, you will be met and greeted by a TUI representative who will take you to Gangtok, which is 130 kms away and will take 4 hours to reach by road. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day-2 Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, start the second day with sightseeing. Visit the old and colorful Buddhist Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Water Fall, Droul Chorthen, the Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), and the Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and, end the day’s sightseeing at the Flower Show where you will be able to see a wide variety of flowers and plants. Return back to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-3 Gangtok – Tshangu Lake

The third day promises to be interesting with a visit to the Tshangu Lake. So, after breakfast, you will be go for an excursion to the Tshangu Lake, which is located at a height of 3780 meters and just 43 Kilometers away from Gangtok & Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16 kms in 1 hr one way from Tshangu Lake) (no entry for foreigner national, they are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. It takes 3 hours to reach the destination. A beautiful lake, set amidst cool, serene surroundings, you are bound to enjoy the experience. In case of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided. Back to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-4 Gangtok – Darjeeling

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & transfer to Darjeeling. Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. On arrival, check in at hotel. Evening is free for individual activity & leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day-5 Darjeeling – Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery & Mt. Everest

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and it’s amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), visit Ghoom Monastery & Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the hotel. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Evening is free for shopping & individual activity. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day-6 Darjeeling – NJP Station / Bagdogra Airport

On the last day of your North East India tour, enjoy a lovely buffet breakfast, after which you will be transferred to the NJP Railway Station or the Bagdogra Airport for your return journey back home.
